High Wire Music, LLC is an artist services and marketing company based in Austin, TX specializing in physical and digital distribution of music, label management, and consulting. They also maintain a record label and management company with a small roster of special artists. With over 20 years of major and independent label sales and marketing experience, High Wire Music provides record labels and recording artists with complete vertical integration of product development, sales, and marketing services. Their distribution partners include Fontana (a subsidiary of Universal Music) and IODA for world-wide digtal distribution.

High Wire founder and President Tom Gimbel has seen all sides of the entertainment industry: as an artist manager, a project director for an independent marketing company, and as a major label executive holding senior posts in both sales and marketing. Following a two-year stint with Amazing Records in Austin (where he eventually rose to Director of Sales and Marketing), Mr. Gimbel moved to the Northeast to join Hard Core Marketing; the then start-up marketing arm of Alliance Entertainment, Inc. While at Hard Core, Mr. Gimbel worked with numerous major and independent label clients and received the NARM Award for "Best Overall Campaign" in the Retail Marketing category. In 1995 Tom joined Arista Records as Marketing Manager. In nine plus years at Arist, Mr. Gimbel held posts as Regional Director of Sales for both the Southwest and Northeast regions, as Senior Director of National Sales, and as Senior Director of National Marketing. While at Arista, Tom helped to develop the careers of numerous superstar artists including Outkast, Santana, Sarah McLachlan, Whitney Houston, Usher, Kenny G, Avril Lavigne, TLC, Pink, and many more. His greatest satisfaction however came from working with developing artists. The desire to work with new and developing talent was the motivation to form High Wire Music. Tom is also the current manager of international underground cult hero Daniel Johnston.
